Purr privacy policy
Effective date: October 24, 2026
Purr does not collect, send or share any personal data. Everything the game remembers stays on your phone.
What the game stores on your phone
- The cat's progress: trust, age, character, habits and your settings.
- Album postcards: small pictures the game draws of your moments with the cat.
This data lives in the app's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling Purr or clearing its data in Android settings deletes it.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Purr schedules short reminders about the cat on your phone itself: at most one a day, and none during the quiet hours you choose. No server is involved. You can turn them off in the game's settings or in Android settings at any time. To keep reminders after a restart, the game asks Android to restore them when the phone boots.
Vibration
Purr uses the vibration motor so you can feel the cat purr. This collects no data.
No network, no ads, no analytics
Purr does not request internet access. It contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no third-party services that collect data. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Google Play
When you download Purr, Google Play handles the install under Google's own privacy policy. We receive only the anonymous aggregate statistics that Google provides to every developer.
Children
Purr collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
